Bought a 70D as a second camera, and while it excels at many things and has a super fast shutter, the noise at high ISOs is quite disturbing (I think). The 6D is a really great camera, lighter and 3x cheaper than the 5DMKIII, with the same image quality and more features (Wifi esp.) 1.

Mixed results 6D. Once, I got a solid connection and took a series of 10 shots. Then, I had trouble reconnecting. Also, it appears that the camera function panel is not live as it is in the Canon control program (Digital Photo Pro 4 and EOS utility for the Wifi connection). For example, I did not see any way to change from RAW+L to RAW+S. \$\begingroup\$ Have the same problem with my Canon 5D3. Can't find why Wifi function is not under format card. Can't find why Wifi function is not under format card. I can see it in MY MENU as grey.

The Canon 6D (WG) has WiFi and GPS. The 6D (N) does not have WiFi or GPS. The model designation plate is on the base of the camera. BG454's gear list: BG454's gear list.

One of the design goals of the 6D was to make a more compact full frame camera. The pentaprism in a full frame camera needs to be bigger than in a crop camera, so addiing a flash on top of that would have made the camera even larger. I applaud Canon's decision.
