Forge of Empires Wiki is a FANDOM Games Community. Expansions allow the player to enlarge the building area of their city. One expansion unlocks an area of 4x4 tiles that has to be placed adjacent to the current building area grid. Expanding is crucial part of the game since buildings tend to get larger through ages and players need to upscale
Other players have done so, and the ratio would seem to be 2 FP plus 2 goods of your Age for 1 Arc Age good. If my Math Fu is up to snuff, that would mean 3750 FP plus 3750 goods of your age for the 1875 goods necessary to build an Arc. I use a "trade calculator" (actually a spreadsheet I created myself, because some of the online calculators are either inaccurate or not updated). But it's really only as a general guideline. The Coin/Supply cost ratio between OF and AF, for example, is 129:117. I might offer 129 Nanowire for 117 Plankton. Or vice versa.
